A differential lock is a mechanical device that allows the wheels to rotate at different speeds relative to each other. Designed for use on drive axles, transmitting torque to both wheel axles with any ratio of angular speeds, which maintains controllability both along the straight road path and on corners without slipping. The use of a differential lock allows you to improve the car's cross-country ability, it is easier to get out of the rut, to pass swamps and viscous soils, to transfer more traction to the wheel, which has better grip.

The self-locking differential redBTR makes it possible to redistribute torque towards the wheel with the highest coefficient of adhesion to the road, which improves handling and patency car in difficult road conditions.
The optimal blocking ratio of 75% allows to reduce the loads on the axle shafts and wheel drives in comparison with 100% blocking.
