Winch gearbox of planetary type with three-stage transmission. The gear teeth of the reducer undergo a special process of nitrocarburizing the surface layer with their additional hardening. This makes it possible to achieve metal hardness up to 35 HRC (on the Rockwell scale), which protects against tooth deformation under maximum loads.
The HUNTER winch has a degree of protection against moisture and dust IP67, thanks to which it can work even with a short immersion under water to a depth of 1 meter. The rubber gasket in the connection of the motor housing with the bracket guarantees water tightness, and on the side of the connection with the winch drum there are rubber cuffs that protect the motor and gearbox from moisture. The connector of the contact group is protected from corrosion by a cap. The control unit is closed from moisture.
