Car winches are designed for self-pulling cars when they get stuck in viscous soil, quagmire, or to overcome a difficult road section. Also, car winches are used to help pull out damaged or stuck cars. Are established on SUVs or off-road equipment.
The main value by which winches are chosen is tractive effort. Pulling force is the value of the force with which the winch drive mechanism is able to pull. Its designation is usually indicated in pounds (lbs), where 1 pound is equal to 0.4535 kg.

This model of the redBTR HUNTER winch has passed all the necessary tests for traction and reliability. Fully compatible with UAZ SGR vehicles (old cargo series). Since 2019, it has been installed at the UAZ LLC plant and is included in the package of UAZ SGR Combi Expedition vehicles.

The gear teeth of the three-stage planetary gearbox are not deformed even under maximum loads. They go through a special process of nitrocarburizing the surface layer followed by hardening, which makes it possible to achieve a tooth hardness of up to 35 (HRC) units on the Rockwell scale.
The HUNTER electric winch model works even with a short immersion under water to a depth of 1 meter. Water resistance is ensured by several factors: a rubber gasket guarantees a tight connection between the motor housing and the bracket, rubber cuffs protect against moisture ingress into the gearmotor from the side of the connection with the winch drum, a closed control unit and a cap for the wired remote control connector protect the contact group from corrosion.
The indisputable advantage of the HUNTER series winch is the ability to be invisible. The cast-iron hawse, when mounted on the redBTR platform, intended for hidden installation of a winch, does not protrude beyond the standard bumper and does not require changes to the vehicle design.
The complete set of the winch for SGR and Hunter vehicles differs in cable length. The length of the power cable "+" (corrugated) is 2.8 meters, the power cable "-" is 3.2 meters.
