Description
The redBTR double-cross joint is designed specifically for installation on "lifted" cars, as well as to replace this unit in cardan joints of a similar design.
An additional spider reduces transmission vibration by evenly distributing the load on the swivel at maximum suspension travel.
The cross is a hinge of unequal angular velocities, the double cross joint equalizes the angular speeds of rotation of the crosses, reduces vibrations and reduces the load on the crosses at large fracture angles of the cardan shaft in the extreme positions of the suspension.
The crosses and the ball of the crosses are heat treated by hardening, equipped with grease fittings for maintenance, the ball joint is protected by anther, the ball pin runs in a needle bearing - this ensures a long service life of the hinge.
